What did you hear about Ududo Kingsley Dikachi?

Before we let you in on Dikachi’s story, lets give you some sort of desert before the main course meal shall we?

These days, it is no longer news that a handful of Nigerian born players are outside the country engaged in active sports having used sports as the main route for exodus.

Amongst the sport said to have one of the highest percentage of human exodus is Basketball.

The hoops sport has gained ground in Nigeria in recent times with more and more young people getting involved in the sport on different levels.

Fact Check: Not everyone actively playing the sport has been able to stand out, as it takes extra grit and grind to make it through the ranks.

Yes, extra grit and grind were part of the recipes that got Ududo Kingsley Dikachi aka “Young blood” on his recent path of greatness!

J-Town Prodigy!

Jos is home to alot of basketball players and Ududo Kingsley Dikachi is one that stands a head above the others.

Dikachi originally from the eastern part of Nigeria was born and bred in Jos.

He started his basketball career also in J-Town and due to his talents and early sparks of greatness shown, he was discovered by Suns Basketball Academy.

At Suns Academy, Dikachi shown like a million stars while leading the team to many titles as team captain.

Ududo Kingsley Dikachi

While staying dedicated, loyal, showing grit and grind in practice and during games coupled with a sublime display of leadership skills  all of which earned him  ‘academy Captain”.

His talents and ball skills saw him suiting up for the likes of Reformers, MoHeat and FCT HardRockers basketball team on various tournaments.

Ududo Kingsley Dikachi

Standing at 6ft 8inches tall, Dikachi is a solid rim protector, efficient rebounder and a dominant force inside the paint.

His strength and skill set always made him a standout player during games.

Dikachi’s Foreign Dominance

Currently on a full time scholarship at Guang Ming College, Philippines he has continued his dominant display by winning player of the game in the four consecutive games he has played so far.

Talking about a future MVP in the making is not far fetched, but Dikachi remains and would always be an MVP to the people of JOS, Nigeria.

As an alumni of Suns Basketball Academy he still a foundational member of the academy.
